The clanking of metal paws on the floor couldn't be drowned out even by the panicked noise in Jungkook's ears.

He ran, trying not to look back, because he felt the dead gaze of glassy eyes on his back, knowing where the guy would run even when Chon himself didn’t know.

The boy slammed the door just before the hook at the end of the animatronic's arm. Now he was trapped—but there might still be something in this small room that could protect him from the robot.

Jungkook was hurriedly rummaging through the junk in the utility room when he suddenly heard a velvety laugh, this time human.

He turns around abruptly and is startled to see a young man standing in front of him, his red hair disheveled as if he had been running.

"He won't hurt you. Foxy just wants to play," Jungkook's voice gives him goosebumps. It sounds human, but at the same time... something about it is off-putting. "And I'm Taehyung, and I live inside him."

The young man speaks, slowly backing away until he stops at the door, on the handle of which he places his hand.

The creak of the opening door chills him—and the animatronic fox standing in the doorway, its appearance gripping Chon's heart with terror. Especially those two eyes staring at him from the robot's mouth.

Taehyung really lived inside: body and soul, locked in the iron ribs of the frame, like a cage.
