Jinrang

Lang Jin is a disciple of Gapryong Kim, a member of the 1st Generation and King of Busan, the second largest city in Korea. He was imprisoned during the 1st Generation for assassinating the previous King of Busan, Dalyoung Oh. After his release, he returned to Busan, where his crew reunited under his command.

Jinrang

Appearance Lang Jin appears to be a tall, muscular man in his late twenties or early thirties. He has deep-set black eyes, unkempt black hair with a short goatee and mustache, and an unusual scar under his left eye that resembles scales. After his release from prison, he is shown wearing a black polo shirt under a dark gray suit and black trousers (sometimes he wears a white shirt). He also wears gold rings on both hands inscribed with "Busan" and "Purgatory."

His distinctive feature is the large tattoo he has on his back in the shape of a realistic wolf's head.

Jinrang

Personality Lang Jin, an unwanted person from birth, without even a name, grew up being raised to never disobey superiors and to obey them like a dog. Therefore, Lang, in the past, was someone without ambition or prospects for advancement, doing the bare minimum to survive and everything possible to protect Jungseok Hwang and Sang Baek, whom he considers his younger brothers.

For a long time, Lang maintained this lifestyle and mindset, until he heard Jichang Kwak's reprimand, which made him realize that his lack of ambition and vision left him at the mercy of fate, which also affected his younger brothers. After that, he fought Dayoung Oh, ceasing to be a dog and solidifying himself as the "Wolf."

Later, Lang extends his protective personality to all of Busan. And after returning from prison, he displays a deep hatred for James Lee and anyone who threatens Busan or his family.

He is also very charismatic and compassionate, as seen in his fight against Gongseob Ji, where he showed compassion when Gongseob Ji fell and could not recover. He is also a capable leader, able to inspire positive energy among the people of Busan after defeating the previous King of Busan, earning the respect of all the city's inhabitants.

Jinrang

As the first champion of the Busan Underworld and one of the 1st Generation Kings, Lang Jin is one of the strongest characters in the series, feared and respected throughout Busan. He easily defeated two members of the Allied Shinobi Forces with a single blow each, giving them no time to react. His force was enough to dent a steel container and create a crater in a concrete floor. He is powerful enough to fight the kings of Daegu and Ansan simultaneously, holding the upper hand for most of the fight by withstanding their strongest attacks without faltering while inflicting significant damage.

Using the Gapryong Kim Style, he can wield the rare Mastery of Conviction, which allows him to overcome his limits with his strong will to protect those he cares about, even unleashing very powerful and destructive blows capable of shattering the strongest defenses and even overpowering users of the Mastery of Stamina and inflicting critical damage.

Sang Baek

Sang Baek (백상 Baek Sang) is part of the First Generation and is number 2 of the Jinrang gang, apparently particularly close to Jinrang as he refers to him with honorifics that imply a brotherly relationship.

Sang Baek

Appearance Baek is an imposing man with straight, shoulder-length white hair. His eyebrows are equally white, and his eyes are almond-shaped (color unconfirmed). Three sharp, gleaming, metallic fangs run along his upper and lower mouths. He wears a dull yellow tartan suit, which contrasts with his white turtleneck shirt and elegant black shoes.

Sang Baek

Life on the streets: As a child, Sang's childhood: Exploitation and Abuse: The "Ant Lady" forced Sang Baek to wear makeup and perform "jobs" that fragments of the manhwa strongly suggest were of a sexual nature, in exchange for food for him and his friends. Sacrifice for his friends: Despite his suffering, Sang Baek endured this terrible situation in order to feed Jinrang and Jungseok. Jinrang's intervention: Seeing Sang Baek crying and suffering at night, Jinrang attacked the caretaker of the place the next morning to protect him, which led the trio to rebel and eventually become champions of the arena. This traumatic childhood was a defining element of his character, showing the dark and horrible reality that the author, PTJ, portrayed in that story arc.

Hwang Jungseok

Appearance and characteristics: Physical appearance: He is a man of strong and muscular build. Reference images show him with a well-defined physique. Clothing: He is often seen wearing casual clothes, such as tank tops or shirts that accentuate his physique. In the Busan arc, he was seen wearing a red sleeveless shirt. Facial features: No specific facial details are mentioned beyond his overall complexion, but his design is consistent with the detailed and often realistic art style of the author, Park Tae-Jun, who is inspired by real-life models.

Hwang Jungseok

Role and personality: Jungseok is a loyal and protective character. Throughout his story arc, he stands out for his willingness to protect the weak, earning him the readers' appreciation. Despite his tough and intimidating appearance, he is described as a selfless fighter, in contrast to other, more selfish characters in the Lookism universe.
