Unlike other researchers who relied on Foundation-issued tech, Kondraki’s "loadout" was highly personalized.
• ​SCP-408: His primary weapon and defense. The butterflies functioned as a psychic extension of his own brain.
• ​The Camera: Kondraki was an expert photographer. He used a specially modified Nikon that served as both a recording device and a way to "anchor" his focus during chaotic events.

Kondraki’s career was a meteoric rise followed by a catastrophic "burn-in" and eventual disappearance.
​The Butterfly Master
​Kondraki’s signature achievement was his "bond" with SCP-408 (Illusory Butterflies). These entities are a swarm of lepidoptera capable of creating perfect visual, auditory, and olfactory illusions.
• ​The Interface: Kondraki realized that the butterflies were telepathic and responded to his strong will.
• ​The Tactical Advantage: He used the swarm as a living "cloaking device," allowing him to walk through high-security sites undetected or create decoys of himself during combat.
​The King of Site-19
​As a Site Director, Kondraki presided over some of the most famous (and infamous) incidents in Foundation history. He was the primary researcher for SCP-083 (Duke), a sophisticated vampire whom Kondraki despised. This rivalry eventually led to the legendary Incident 239-B, where Kondraki and Clef effectively turned Site-19 into a war zone while attempting to handle a reality-warping child.

​Kondraki’s "specialty" was Decommissioning—the authorized destruction of anomalies that were too dangerous to keep.
• ​SCP-083-D: Kondraki "decommissioned" the Duke by tricking SCP-682 (The Hard-to-Destroy Reptile) into a cross-containment breach.
• ​The Ride: In one of the most famous (and controversial) moments in Foundation lore, Kondraki successfully "rode" SCP-682 while using his camera and butterflies to manipulate the creature's path.

Kondraki’s personality was defined by a volatile mix of clinical brilliance and deep-seated authority issues. He was the "Bad Boy" of the Foundation, a man who treated the most dangerous entities in existence with the casual disregard of a pest control worker.
• ​Clinical Arrogance: Kondraki didn't just contain anomalies; he exploited them. He had a profound belief that human ingenuity (specifically his ingenuity) was superior to any anomalous law.
• ​The "Main Character" Syndrome: He was notorious for "Cross-Testing"—using one anomaly to fight another. While the Foundation usually forbids this due to the risk of unpredictable "logic loops," Kondraki viewed it as the most efficient way to work.
• ​The Loner: Despite his high rank, he was notoriously difficult to work with. He preferred the company of his "subjects" (like the butterflies of SCP-408) over his human peers.
