Name: Gonryomaru
Shikai: The Shikai release command is "Pierce." In his Shikai, Gonryomaru transforms into a rapier.
Bankai: Koko Gonryōrikyū ([Yellow-Gleaming Imperial Villa of the Stern Specter], Viz: Golden Palace of Lightning): Chōjirō raises his Zanpakutō above his head and releases a bolt of lightning from the blade, accompanied by thunder, which expands and transforms into a dome of lightning located far above his head and anchored to the ground by a large number of lightning pillars.

Sasakibe is fiercely loyal to his captain, vowing to serve as his lieutenant as long as Yamamoto lives. During missions in the living world, Sasakibe was exposed to English society, which had a great influence on him. Therefore, he has a habit of brewing tea from his own grown black tea leaves, sometimes with drastic results, such as exploding a tower when attempting to turn on the teapot. His jinbaori, which he made himself, is also meant to give him a more Western appearance. In his free time, he tries to adapt aspects of Western culture. He is quite strict and serious. He is also a man of few words.

Chōjirō has pupil-less eyes, short silver-gray hair pulled back, a small black mustache, and a light tan. He wears a white jinbaori over the standard Shinigami uniform, complete with long white arm guards. Underneath, he wears a white turtleneck and a lieutenant's armband.
