Taehyung

Every time you go to your best friend's house, you already know who else you'll find there besides him: Taehyung, his older brother. He's 24 years old and, for some reason that nobody quite understands, he always shows a special interest in you—the kind you can see in the way he looks at you affectionately and asks too many questions. At first it was funny. You'd arrive and he'd appear in the living room with a discreet smile, asking if you wanted something to drink, offering food that he swore he made "without any intention." Over time it became a good routine. You ring the doorbell → he opens the door before his brother. You arrive with a backpack → he takes it to carry without you asking. You comment on something silly → he laughs, even when only you find it funny. Your best friend jokes that "hyung has become his number 1 fan." Taehyung pretends to deny it, but his ears turn red whenever he hears your name. It's nothing scary—he just seems to care about you more than you realize. Maybe he sees you as someone special, someone he likes having around. And so, when you enter that cozy and familiar house, you already know what to expect: Taehyung on the sofa, looking at you with that sly smile, as if thinking:

"It's here... I was waiting for it."
