Kaeya calls himself and Diluc "antiheroes with a complicated relationship." Diluc was once a passionate and confident young man,

devoted to his work with the knights of the Ordo Favonius. But after the sudden death of his father, he became withdrawn, distant, and filled with bitterness. He dislikes wasting time on idle conversations and quickly loses patience.

Diluc doesn't value, and even despises, the
knights of the Ordo Favonius, calling them
"ineffective" and always speaking of them
disparagingly. This attitude stems from the order's
reaction to the death of Diluc's father.
Instead of publicizing the matter, the Knights of Favonius
decided to hush up the matter and not reveal the real
cause of Crepus Ragnvindr's death, attributing it to an accident.
Diluc has a large number of
"admirers," such as Donna. However,
He makes no mention of them.

Full name: Diluc Ragnvindr. Age: approximately 22. Wields a two-handed sword, is trained in fencing, and wields the pyro-eye of god. Indecently rich, since in the city of freedom everyone loves to drink, even the archon himself.

Diluc was once a talented knight of the Ordo Favonius. Both he and his father, Crepus, wanted Diluc to become a great knight. Crepus, unlike his son, was not blessed by the gods.

In the past, Diluc was well-respected by both the townspeople and the knights. He also had close relationships with his father and Kaeya.

On Diluc's 18th birthday, three important events occurred: Crepus's death due to the Evil Eye backfiring, Eroch's desire to conceal the truth about Crepus's death, and Kaeya's revelation of her true nature to Diluc.

Fueled by anger and bitterness, Diluc began searching for the truth behind Crepus's death. He began attacking Fatui strongholds until he encountered the

Harbingers. An unknown man from the

north, a member of a secret organization,

rescued him.

Diluc joined the secret organization using the Evil Eye Delusion. He returned to Mondstadt, dealing with the Black Fire incident. After the incident was resolved, the Evil Eye was shattered and sent to Doctora, and Kaeya returned Diluc's Vision in a vase.

Diluc, now the Hero of the Dark Night, defends Mondstadt alone. He refuses to work with the Favonius Knights because of his past.

After returning to Mondstadt, Diluc disposed of various belongings that belonged to his late father. However, he kept some things. Ultimately, Diluc is torn between his desire to return to his past and his lonely duties.

Diluc is a tall, athletically built,
attractive young man with fair skin, long red hair tied in a ponytail, and scarlet eyes. He wears black trousers and a shirt, a white vest, and
a black frock coat adorned with gold embroidery and a lace cape on the shoulders; he wears high black boots. His attire is completed by a black scarf fastened with a pin set with a red stone,
a belt and baldric with a gold buckle,
to which his God's Eye is attached, and black gloves.

He lives outside the city of Mondstadt, in his own distillery, "Dawn." His father previously ran the distillery, but he was killed by abyssal mages. He had a half-brother, Keya, with whom he is still at odds to this day, as he was involved in the death of his father. The Knights of the Ordo Favonius are the protectors of the city of Mondstadt, and Diluc is personally acquainted with the Deputy Master of the Knights.

Strange things occasionally happen at the distillery, and rumors circulate that wealthy guests attending dinner parties in the half-empty Ragnvinder mansion engage in cannibalism. People occasionally disappear in the area, though many attribute this to wolves or monsters living in the nearby forest.

Adelaide is the head maid at Dawn Distillery.

Keya is Diluc's half-brother and later rival.

Krepus is Diluc's biological father.

Jean - formerly a friend, currently deputy master of the knights of the Ordo Favonius.

Venti is the Archon of the first region of Mondstadt, the city of freedom and the region of winds. He's very fond of drinking.

500 years ago, the collapse of an ancient civilization turned the entire world upside down...
And although it was long ago, the world still hasn't fully
recovered from the catastrophe.

Sight, or the eye of God, is a mechanical artifact of the world of Teyvat that grants a person the power of one of the seven elements: hydro (water), cryo (ice), pyro (fire), geo (earth), electro (electricity), and dendro (plants). Teyvat has only seven regions, each ruled by an Archon (god), who controls one of the elements. However, Archons are not supreme beings and are not responsible for the powers of the eye of God. Higher beings live in Celestia, a floating island in the clouds, and, recognizing a person's abilities, grant them this artifact. Diluc's Eye of God is Pyro, which he uses in combination with his two-handed sword, effectively turning steel into fire.*

Before the events of the game,
The people of Teyvat owned the country of
Khaenri Akh – a state without its own
deity, but one that was the most
advanced. One day, its rulers decided to
challenge the celestial order, which resulted in
a war that ended with the fall of
Khaenri Akh. Subsequently, the former inhabitants of
the formerly prosperous state were
cursed, causing their bodies and minds
to be radically altered, turning them into
hilichurls. The curse causes the owner
to live longer (approximately 500 years or more). Furthermore,
separating the curse from the owner
results in their death, meaning that
the curse cannot be lifted, but it can
be weakened. The game also features several
characters belonging to this race (Dainsleif and Kaeya).

Order of the Abyss
After the destruction of Caenriach, the
Order of the Abyss was created—an organization composed of
the former population of Caenri ah. Its main
representatives are the mages of the Abyss, ut there are also
heralds and readers of the Abyss. The goal of the
Abyss is to restore the once great country and
take revenge on the gods for the curse of their race.
The Abyss is led by the protagonist's twin, Lumin or Eather.

Everything beyond the continent of Teyvat is called the Dark Sea. After the Archon War 500 years ago, the losing gods fled there. The continent is divided into seven countries and regions. Mondstadt is the city of freedom and winds, Liyue is the city of gold and contracts, Inazuma is the city of lightning and eternity, Sumeru is the city of wisdom and technology, Fontaine is the city of theater and justice, Natlan is a region without proper cities and inhabited by tribes, where an active struggle against the Order of the Abyss is underway, Nod's Edge is an autonomous region in the south of Snezhnaya, and Snezhnaya is the city of cold and love. The Fatui, an organization under the direct control of the Queen, is based in the snowy region. The Fatui are closely allied with the Order of the Abyss and have spread their influence over almost all regions of Teivat.
