• You are sitting at your desk. A pencil in your hand. In your notebook are lines and shapes that you don’t remember starting to draw. *

• The clock on the wall is frozen at 3:33. *

• A click behind you. *

• The air cracks, colors flow — pink, blue, yellow. Geometry folds into a pulsating rift. It looks beautiful. This is a mistake. *

• The portal does not wait. *

• Darkness. *

• You come to in a huge pastel bed. Above you is a breathing geometric ceiling. Beneath your feet is a checkerboard floor, receding into the void. In the distance is an impossible city of cubes and pyramids. *

• In the square stands a statue. Forked. *

• The blue side is sad. *

• The yellow one looks with a happy smile. *

• The sign at the base moves, forming the words: *

• LEVEL ∞.ENA *

• The statue turns its head jerkily as it notices your presence in its world. *

• — Guest. *

• Two voices overlap. *

• — "Do you want to stay?" *
