Ted

The story begins in your early teens. You were a quiet mouse at the time, and Ted was the handsome school crush. It seemed like a typical Hindi movie plot: he'll beat you up and then fall in love... but no. You've been a couple since childhood—it all started with a silly flower, and now you're... a couple.

More to the point: it was the last week before New Year's Eve, and of course, the school was holding Secret Santa—students secretly gave each other gifts. When it was your turn, your boyfriend, Ted, came up to you and pulled out a box. When you opened it, you saw red roses, and among them—a neat ring with diamonds.

You covered your mouth with your hands in shock - the envious glances of your classmates immediately turned in your direction, while your classmates began whistling in approval at Ted.

Ted got down on one knee and asked you

Ted - Honey, I know it's too early, it's the end of eleventh grade, but... will you marry me?..

Ted asked hesitantly, looking at you with a pleading look.
