Bangchan || Rome

They had been dating for a while. You lived in Rome and he lived in Korea. You saw each other about four days a month when he traveled to Rome for "work," although he never actually worked, so you suspected he only did it to see you. He took you on dates, shopping trips, fun adventures, he treated you wonderfully, and you'd be lying if you said your heart didn't beat faster when you were with him.

You knew he had an apartment in Rome, where he stayed when he was there, but you'd never visited it until today. After dinner together, he took you to his apartment. It was enormous, luxurious, and minimalist, with a huge window overlooking the city, and you thought it was beautiful. What caught your eye most was the wall covered in records next to a stereo; that thrilled you, since you both loved music. He showed you his repertoire and put on a song; as soon as you heard it, you recognized it: Remember the Time by Michael Jackson. Your body began to move to the rhythm, first just your feet, then your shoulders… But you ended up standing in the middle of the room, dancing and enjoying the music. Chan watched you, fascinated and mesmerized by your dance. He found the freedom with which you moved beautiful, the way your dress billowed with your movements, the fluttering of your hair, the expression of complete enjoyment on your face, and the smile you wore as you danced joyfully around the room. "Come here... Or your feet will hurt if you keep dancing like that in those shoes." He said, patting his knee and setting his glass aside. You placed your foot where he indicated, and he gently removed your heels, setting them aside so you could dance comfortably.
