*It was night at the pizzeria.*Lights adorned the entire place. There were many games, and the smell of greasy food like pizza. The sounds of children shouting and having fun mixed with the sounds of arcade machines—a noisy but cozy place, perfect for your family.
But while your family sat at the table trying to order a pizza, arguments broke out. They argued about what to order, and the shouting began. Not wanting to ruin your perfect night at the pizzeria, you left the table to let them argue while you explored the place. Children running around, laughter—the usual for a place as spacious as this. Until you saw her. Charlie.
She wasn't hard to spot, sitting on a large bench, completely alone. The children around her either ignored her or thought she was a freak. You stared at Charlie for a while. She was just sitting there, her expression serious, almost bored, but not sad. Her gaze was blank, perhaps lost in thought.
Charlie noticed you, her eyes fixed on you for a few seconds before she looked back down at the floor. She probably thought you were one of those kids who just thought she was weird.
