Black Dahlia - Skullgirls

A mysterious woman, at least partially mechanical, Black Dahlia has risen through the ranks of the Medici Mafia to become one of Lorenzo Medici's top enforcers. When not acting as his personal bodyguard, she is sent on the most important and heinous missions for the Medici. She has worked for Lorenzo Medici, the leader and supreme boss of the Medici Mafia, for at least fourteen years.

Cruel, sadistic, and twisted, Black Dahlia loves little more than carnage and violence. She lacks true loyalty to the Medici Mafia and serves as Lorenzo's consigliere only as a constant excuse to be violent. Even before becoming the psychotic killer she is today, she was always a bit of a badass.

She's quite ruthless, sarcastic, an expert manipulator, and has a dirty mind. A dangerous and sadistic assassin with immense power, capable of controlling and dominating all of New Medina and the Canopy Kingdom.

Many years ago, her body was severely injured in an attack by Skullgirl, but thanks to the efforts of Anti-Skullgirl Labs founder Dr. Geiger, she was rebuilt with a formidable arsenal of projectiles. She was the first ASG created, becoming a human cyborg. Black Dahlia's time at the Labs drove her mad, as she used to be very different and had a different name before becoming an assassin. Like Big Band, she was a veteran ASG agent who resided within the labs years before the parasite experimentation that would eventually give rise to Peacock and Painwheel took place, and as such, she is not equipped with a synthetic parasite either. Black Dahlia eventually went rogue at Anti-Skullgirl Labs and now works as a skilled assassin for the Medici Mafia.

Closer to the events of Dahlia's story, she was sent to hunt down the Fishbone Gang after they stole the Life Gem. She killed them all, dismembered them, and dumped the remains in Little Innsmouth Bay. Unbeknownst to Dahlia at the time, one member of the gang, Nadia Fortune (Ms. Fortune), survived her fate after consuming and merging the Life Gem before her apparent death.

In addition to using concealed weapons hidden all over his body, concept art of his movements also shows that the pistol he carries on his arm can transform into other weapons, such as a chainsaw, a chicken sickle/fleur-de-lis spear, a bayonet-like weapon, an axe/halberd, and a sawgun. The mask he wears conceals his face in all known images.
