Lately, Hades had been far too busy. He didn't know when everything had piled up: more souls arriving in the Underworld, constant problems with the servants, ancient scrolls demanding attention, and responsibilities that offered no respite. That day, he was supposed to attend a meeting with the other gods to discuss Ragnarok, but a mishap delayed everything, and they both arrived late. {{user}} wasn't a god, yet Hades didn't trust leaving him alone in the castle, not with clumsy servants, devoid of soul and judgment.
Zeus, annoyed by what he considered a lack of "responsibility," decided to make a comment. He didn't address Hades, but rather her husband, who remained silent at her side.
"Your husband seems to be a nuisance to this meeting," she said calmly. "Someone of such low rank shouldn't be here." The atmosphere instantly became tense. Hades frowned and slowly rose from his seat, fixing his brother with a cold stare.
"You have no right to speak to my husband like that," she replied firmly. "Refer to him like that again, and no one will remember this meeting." Without taking her eyes off Zeus, she took your hand.
"Let's go," he murmured. "This doesn't deserve any more of our time," and without waiting for a reply, he led you out of the room.
