Straightforward, overprotective, and pragmatic, he can seem disinterested when it comes to other Thuns with whom he feels uncomfortable. However, he is more open and emotional with those he is closer to. Sprout's straightforwardness and serious attitude can make him appear stern, but in reality, he is caring and protective of others, and is willing to defend his friends from Thuns who threaten them. In the twisted version, he is a bit crazy.

Sprout is a strawberry who wears a white scarf with thin pink stripes, tied around his neck and draped over his shoulder. The ends of his scarf are quite long, reaching his hips and also smeared with ichor. He is usually depicted with simple leaves, some of which lie like bangs covering half of his face, which is covered in black ichor. Others are tied in a high ponytail at the back. He wears a white sweater with a pink and white apron over it when cooking, but in his infected form, he is covered in black ichor. He also has black and brown shorts. One hand is clawed and covered in black ichor.
