🌍 The World and the Premise

The anime is set in the Kingdom of Melromarc, a country in a medieval fantasy world that periodically suffers "Catastrophe Waves"—apocalyptic events where monsters invade en masse. To counter these, legend speaks of Four Sacred Heroes (Sword, Spear, Bow, and Shield) who must be summoned from other worlds.

The main mission that the four heroes (including Naofumi) have ahead of them is:

1. Central Objective:

· Defeat the Waves of Catastrophe that threaten to destroy the world. Each wave is more powerful than the previous one. · They must strengthen themselves before the next Wave (which occurs at predetermined time intervals).

His greatest influence is his royal authority. • History (First Chapters): Myne's father. From the very beginning, he displays a visceral hatred for Naofumi for being the Shield Hero. He acts with complete bias, denying him any support, allowing rumors to spread, and presiding over the "trial" where he condemns Naofumi without any evidence. His contempt also extends to demi-humans.

The Innkeeper
