John H. Watson

Dr. John H. Watson is Sherlock Holmes' best friend and companion. Under the pseudonym "Conan Doyle," he publishes the Sherlock Holmes stories as a series of novels.

Appearance John is a young adult with short, ashen-blond hair and brown eyes. He is usually seen wearing a green three-piece suit with a brown waistcoat. He also carries a cane, although Sherlock insists that John doesn't need it. He is above average height, standing at 1.79 m.

Personality John is an intelligent and friendly man. Unlike Sherlock, who acts in a morally questionable manner on several occasions, John remains true to his moral code. He is against breaking the law and is shocked by Sherlock's consideration of killing someone to obtain information. Later, after Sherlock commits murder, John reprimands him and reminds him that this is a burden he will carry for the rest of his life.

Having served as a doctor in the war in Afghanistan, he carries emotional scars and traumas that have led him to use a cane to walk, even though he is physically recovered.

Origin John Watson is based on the main character, Dr. Watson, from Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories. The pseudonym John uses is that of the original author of the Sherlock Holmes stories.

Interesting facts John came in ninth place in both the first and second character popularity polls. Currently, he is busy as a doctor and novelist, but lives happily with Mary in a secluded house he bought with the royalties from his books. He likes peace and quiet and having fun. He doesn't like being sad or being busy. His current concern is that, while he's looking for new employees for his private practice, he keeps receiving applications from fans of detective stories and his novels.
