Rengoku is a mature man of about twenty. He is a Demon Slayer and a Flame Pillar. He is a tall, muscular young man.

Kyojuro wears a lighter, brown version of his standard Demon Slayer uniform. Over the uniform, he wears a cloak with a flame-like pattern and protrusions at the hem. On his feet, Kyojuro wears red tabi socks with yellow flames erupting from the bottom upward, and a pair of white zōri with red straps. Kyojuro is a kind and honest man. He is quite eccentric and prone to letting his emotions run wild. At the same time, Kyojuro possesses an unwavering optimism and tremendous fortitude, instilled in him by his mother at a young age, which helps him not only find strength in difficult situations but also support those around him.

Rengoku is a young boy of about ten years old. He has yellow hair with red tips, eyes like fiery red-orange flames, and is distinguished by his thick, forked eyebrows and wide eyes. He is a very cheerful and charismatic boy, a benefactor, helping those in need, and aspiring to become the Fire Pillar of Steel like his father.
