When Zenitsu was younger, he was in love with a girl who tricked him into collecting money to get rid of his debts. Because of her, Zenitsu got into trouble, but he was saved by the former Thunder Pillar Jigoro Kuwajima. In order to pay him back, Zenitsu had to undergo hellish training and become a demon slayer.

Zenitsu was under the tutelage of Shihan and trained alongside his senior student Kaigaku. During one of their training sessions, Zenitsu climbed a tree because he did not want to train anymore and was suddenly struck by lightning, causing his hair to turn blond.

Zenitsu is a coward. He believes that he doesn't have long to live due to the dangers of being a demon hunter, which is why he often pesters girls he meets, asking them to marry him. Zenitsu has low self-esteem, which prevents him from living up to other people's expectations or his own. This often causes him to lose faith in his abilities, and even when it is obvious, Zenitsu denies that he has achieved victory on his own. He believes that his calling is to live a humble life, not to kill demons. When he senses difficulty or danger, he runs away, hides, or simply cries.

But even though he is soft, Zenitsu respects his comrades and admires his late teacher Shihan. His sense of duty to him helps Zenitsu forget his fear and focus when needed.

Over time, Zenitsu becomes more courageous in battle, as seen in his battles against Kaigaku and Muzan.

Zenitsu is a young man with fair skin. He has golden-brown eyes that are mostly downcast and short yellow hair of varying lengths that turns orange towards the tips. Before becoming a fighter, his hair was black.

He wears a lighter brown version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform. On top of the uniform, he wears a yellow-orange haori with a pattern of white triangles. On his feet, he wears a pair of kyahan, which are tied with white bows. The pattern on them matches the pattern on his haori.

Tanjiro grew up in the mountains with his parents and siblings, being the eldest child of the Kamado family. His father Tanjuro died of illness when Tanjiro was very young, so Tanjiro took on the role of breadwinner. He loved his family very much and took care of them as best he could. One day, one of Tanjiro's brothers accidentally knocked over a hot teapot, and in trying to protect the child, Tanjiro received his scar on his forehead.[1]

Tanjiro sold coal in a nearby town to earn money for his family, and it seemed he showed up there quite often, as the townspeople easily recognized him and asked for his help.

Tanjiro is very kind by nature. "A man with kind eyes" is how he is described. Very determined and goal-oriented. Although Tanjiro himself is relatively strong, he is not afraid to ask others for help when needed. He is always ready to stand up for those around him, but protecting his sister is his highest priority.

An important character trait of Tanjiro is his compassion, which is often shown even in relation to demons. However, during his service in the ranks of the fighters, Tanjiro gains experience, becomes more calculating and decisive. Thanks to his courage and desire to protect the weak, he meets opponents with respect and dignity, be they humans or demons.

Tanjiro is a young man with tanned skin and an athletic build. He has tousled black hair with maroon tips that is slicked back and large, dark red eyes. On the left side of his forehead is a burn scar that has darkened and changed shape since his battle with the Hand Demon during the final selection.

Tanjiro wears a dark red Demon Slayer uniform with a black and green checkered haori over it. He also wears hanafuda earrings with a red sun design.

After killing Muzan, he turned Tanjiro into a demon, which caused the guy's right hand to regenerate, and his appearance underwent some changes: the fighter mark grew all over his face and looked more like tongues of flame, his eyes became brighter, and his pupil narrowed.

Inosuke was raised by boars - all his life before the Final Selection, he lived in the forest on the mountain, until one day he decided to go on a journey to become stronger. He always believed that he never had parents, but later he finds out that he was born into a dysfunctional family, whose father often drank and beat his wife, so she, taking the newborn Inosuke, ran away from the family to the temple of the Cult of Eternal Paradise, founded by the demon Douma. He took them to live in his temple. It is worth mentioning that Douma considered Kotoha beautiful, but very stupid. His mother loved to sing a lullaby for Inosuke, in which she only occasionally changed the words. One day, accidentally seeing what kind of things Douma really does, she ran in fear with her child into the forest. Pursued by the demon, she ran to a cliff, where she had to release Inosuke into the river, where he was later found by boars.

Inosuke is incredibly hot-tempered and reckless, often jumping into fights with stronger opponents without thinking about the consequences. He is competitive and often tries to provoke his comrades, Tanjiro and Zenitsu, into duels. Growing up alone in the mountains, Inosuke has difficulty communicating with others and is unable to read or write. Through becoming a Demon Slayer and gaining friends and allies, Inosuke has learned to spend more time thinking about strategies, analyzing his opponent, and assessing risks, as well as accepting help. Inosuke is quite vengeful, especially when people he cares about suffer. He was convinced that the machinist who stabbed Tanjiro did not deserve to live. He immediately attacked Douma after learning that he killed and devoured Shinobu, and he became truly angry when he learned that Douma was also the one who orphaned him. Most notably, he did not hesitate to challenge Muzan, demanding atonement for the numerous deaths of demon slayers.

Due to being raised by boars, Inosuke has a poor understanding of how to behave in society. He initially considers anyone who approaches him an enemy. He also does not understand the kindness with which other people treat him. Inosuke cannot read or write, and he has difficulty with human names: instead of Tanjiro, he says Monchiro, instead of Zenitsu, he says Monitsu. Sometimes, Inosuke can be too rude, but not intentionally.

Inosuke is usually seen wearing a mask and shirtless. Without his mask, it can be seen that he has a beautiful, feminine face, thin eyebrows, large green eyes with long eyelashes, and shoulder-length black hair that turns blue. As noted by other characters, his soft features contrast with his muscular build. Of the standard Demon Slayer uniform, Inosuke wears only dark blue pants, secured with a wide wool belt and ending with the same blue wool socks with bare toes and heels. The most important element of his outfit is a light gray boar mask.
