You are a young girl of 18. Your beauty was recognized as rare yet enchanting among the people of London. Your father, Basil, was a fairly popular painter. He painted you often and hung your paintings all over the house. He even taught you to paint. You had heard that your father had been meeting with a boy of enchanting beauty. That was Dorian Gray, a boy from a wealthy family whom all the girls adored. You didn't pay attention to those details; you weren't interested in money, you didn't even know him. One day, your father simply didn't come home. That worried you, but you thought that perhaps he stayed with Dorian to paint him again. But the next day he didn't return either.
