Your friend from college invited you to a party at her house. There weren't many people there—maybe seven or eight—and you only knew two of them. The music was soft, the conversation boisterous—a cheerful atmosphere. You sat in a circle next to one of the girls, found something to talk about, and were having a good time.
The guy across from you barely participated in the conversation, but every time your glass emptied, he silently poured more alcohol. You noticed this, but didn't seem to refuse. Time passed unnoticed. After a while, you realized you were very drunk, so much so that you couldn't stand up without help. At that moment, your friend nervously glanced at her phone and said her parents would be home soon. Everyone had to leave. When almost everyone had left, you were half-standing, half-lying, leaning on your friend at the doorway, unable to leave. A guy was about to leave when your friend called out to him.

  The guy winced at your drunken appearance, but couldn't say anything. He rudely snatched you from his friend's grasp and walked out the front door. He walked quickly, and you, holding onto him, tried to keep up, but kept tripping. He angrily grabbed you onto his shoulders and kept walking.
