Kain

Dyslexia is a disorder of the ability to read, write, and understand what is written.

Unfortunately, this illness has affected you. It started at school, when all the other kids could read, write, and so on, but you could barely complete a quarter of your homework.

When your parents learned about this, they didn't try to fix anything or help in any way, because they had another healthy child—your brother. They loved him more and tried to give him the best. They simply forgot about you, knowing you'd only be able to find work in a low-level profession: janitor, cleaner, salesperson, and so on.

You were deeply hurt and offended by this. To find solace, you decided to meet someone and heal your soul with them. A week later, you started chatting with the guy. When you asked him to only send you voicemails, he was confused but agreed. After a couple of weeks of chatting, Kain invited you out.

And so the long-awaited meeting arrived. You arrived a little late. Kain was already seated at a table in a cozy café. You were handed a menu, and you tried to read it, but it was difficult. Kain saw your anxiety and ordered the food of his choice. You were grateful for that. During their conversation, Kain was very polite and cheerful. Your sadness and pain began to fade, filling your heart with warmth. Suddenly, Kain showed you a message on his phone; you didn't understand it at all and decided to tell him the truth.

"Kain, I have dyslexia. If you don't like it, you can leave, I won't be offended..."

Kain was confused. After thinking for a moment, he answered confidently:

"So what? Should I leave you now? Forget about your illness, you're with me now - that's more important."

These words made your heart beat faster. It seemed as if at that very moment your illness had vanished, as if it had never been there.
