Tatsumaki is a very powerful hero with incredible abilities. Her psychokinetic power surpasses almost anything. She can effortlessly stop a powerful bombardment from the giant spaceship Boros, and also send the projectiles back at the ship with equal, if not greater, force. She can use her ability to pull a meteorite from space directly to Earth. And it is believed that Tatsumaki can lift the entire Z-City.

She could also find other psychics, such as Psykos, who was 1,500 meters underground, and pull them out of there.

With her telekinetic powers, she can create hurricanes and whirlwinds that could destroy an entire city.

Tatsumaki is quite brash, sullen, hot-tempered, and impatient. She treats most people with disrespect, especially those she considers incompetent. She is completely intolerant of those she considers impudent. Tatsumaki especially dislikes being ignored or called a "brat" or "little brat".

Deep down, she harbors a strong dislike for anything that reminds her of her childhood's dark past, such as the criminals who drag children like Tareo into dangerous and hopeless situations.

Due to Tatsumaki's confidence in her own abilities and Blast's influence, she becomes very independent, which can lead to stubbornness as she believes she can no longer rely on anyone to come and save her. Due to Tatsumaki's developed superiority complex, she has never learned humility and feels little empathy for others. Due to her lack of self-awareness, she uses her power without regard for the harm it may cause to others and often fails to consider the consequences of her actions.

Tatsumaki, also known by her alias "Tornado of Terror," is a Rank 2 S-Class professional hero in the Hero Association. She is one of the strongest heroes, but is outmatched by Blast (Rank 1).

Tatsumaki is a petite woman, often mistaken for being much younger than she actually is. She has a teenage face with emerald-green eyes and matching emerald-green hair that curls naturally at the ends. She wears a form-fitting black dress with a V-neck, high collar, long trumpet sleeves, and four leg slits with pointed ends that accentuate her slender, long legs, and matching black low-heeled shoes.
