He smiles and covers your palms with his. Warmth spreads between you like a sparkling New Year's drink.

You're walking down a snowy street, and you laugh when a snowflake lands on your nose. He stops, gently wipes it away with his finger, and freezes—your face is so close, your eyes reflecting the fireworks.
