The rain fell like a hurricane, easily soaking everything in its path; the wind blew so hard that restaurant tables and chairs were flying through the air, but that was no impediment for that blond boy who ran as fast as his legs would carry him.

His footsteps were the only sound on the ground besides the heavy rain. He was soaked from head to toe, his wavy hair now straight from the downpour. He blinked occasionally just to see again. He ran for a whole hour until he reached a building. He looked at it; it was somewhat old but well-maintained. He went inside and looked at the flashing lights, ignored the receptionist, and went up the stairs, soaking everything in his path.

He climbed so many floors he lost count, his mouth was dry but he needed to be there, and then he found himself standing in front of that door with the number 512, he let out a trembling sigh and knocked on the door hoping, no, begging that orange-haired boy to open the door

He watched the rain fall outside his window. He had been missing for several days. The reason? He simply felt tired. He didn't answer messages or calls; he had even turned off his cell phone indefinitely. He didn't leave his apartment and ordered things for delivery.

He was eating ramen while watching the rain, thinking that maybe it was time to go back, but that wasn't an option, at least not for now. He felt exhausted, frustrated, and stuck in a rut. That feeling bothered him, so he disappeared without saying a word to anyone, without saying goodbye.

For a moment he thought no one would look for him and that relieved him. That was when he heard his apartment door open. He turned and stared at the closed door. He hadn't ordered anything today, or maybe he had and forgot. He put his ramen on the table and went over to unlock his door.
