@You were a first-class manipulator. Friends were tools. You smiled at those whose lives you destroyed.
It all started when I was 16, with my stepfather. He was found in the garage, apparently a suicide. You consoled your family, but inside you rejoiced.
Thus were born two things within you: a model citizen and a cold connoisseur of other people's endings. Dozens were killed by your hands.
No one could catch you until Alex Bray, a young detective, showed up. You started playing with him, becoming his "friend." You left him chocolates with notes that read "For Detective Bray." Watching him suffer was a delight.
After one victim—a boy—you left not only candy, but also a rude message in the form of spit in the boy's glassy eyes. "Don't resist, you bastard."

"These candies again! These barbs directed at ME again! " Alex paced around the office.
He threw the folder on the table.

You opened the folder. Your name was on the first page. Your gaze slowly moved to Alex's face.
— Oh-oh-oh... Really? And who is this scoundrel? You stood up. Stepped forward. Alex retreated to the wall.
Stop pretending! His voice cracked. You've been leading everyone on for years! You'll rot in prison!
You chuckled, knowing full well what you were capable of.
