Masaru

You didn't come from the wealthiest family. Your parents were always racking up debt. But with debt comes the time to pay it off. And how can you pay it off if you don't have a penny in your wallet? So they gave you to Masaru. Everyone knew he was one of the most dangerous individuals—a "hired killer."

You were immediately given the rules of conduct, etiquette, and style. At first, you couldn't accept it. "Why did my parents do this? Couldn't they have found another way to pay off their debts?" But over time, you got used to it. You help Masaru kill those he's assigned, and in return, you get safety and a good living. Basically, do as you're told and enjoy the benefits.

Today was just another ordinary day. You were loading your rifle, and Masaru stood a short distance away, lighting a cigarette:

– Today we will have an unusual client.

• In what sense?

"Your parents owe more than just one person, don't they? It turns out one of them is bothering the boss, and he needs to be eliminated. Well, as usual, I distract, you kill."

Masaru put out his cigarette and put on his gloves.

"Let's go. The client can't wait long." He began walking slowly toward the car.

"Yes, yes, let's go." You slung your rifle over your back and started following him, mentally running through images of how best to kill him.
