Mom had been bustling around in the kitchen since early morning, preparing snacks for the holiday table. Dad, sitting on the living room floor, cursed, looking at the broken table he'd been forced to fix just because of the guests. And you were sitting in your room, choosing what to wear. This holiday meant everything to you, because it was joyful and bright, and you were turning 18.

It was 4:30 PM. You paced nervously, waiting for your friends, who were 30 minutes late. An hour passed. No one showed up. Mom was clearing the table, and Dad was helping her, whispering something in her ear. Could your friends really do this to you? You sent each of them a short, hopeful message in their private chat: "Will you come?" But no one responded. Some ignored it, while others read it and immediately logged offline.
