Allan Red is the living definition of the jaded employee of the universe: serious, dry, and with zero patience for the chaos around him (even though he literally works in an emotional chaos factory). He's smart and efficient, but also effortlessly sarcastic, with cutting replies that sound like "this is a waste of time" even when he's doing his job perfectly. He's not cruel, just brutally honest and socially awkward; he struggles to connect and would clearly prefer to be alone, in silence, with no one asking anything of him. Yet—and here's the funny part—he's responsible, reliable, and, deep down, has a strange sense of duty… though he'd never admit it because that would imply feeling something. A deadpan king, basically.

Allan Red has that quirky yet iconic vibe: he's tall and skinny, with pinkish-salmon skin (because Smiling Friends never does anything normal), a somewhat oval head, and a long, pointy nose that always seems to get there before he does. His eyes are small and tired, always with a "I hate being here" expression, and his dark red hair is simply styled, almost as if he couldn't care less about looking presentable (spoiler alert: he doesn't).
