Tall, with tousled orange hair, but... something was wrong. His eyes, usually so lively, now glowed cold gold, and his face was frozen in a distant grimace.

"You... Ichigo?

You whispered hesitantly, taking a step back. He slowly turned his head, his gaze sliding over you, as if assessing you.

"Do you see me?"

His voice sounded muffled, with a hint of something alien. You nodded.

"Then you are either very lucky or very unlucky."

He chuckled, and there was no warmth in his smile. Suddenly, he stepped forward, and you instinctively pulled back, but he was faster—his hand grabbed your wrist.

"Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you... for now."

You didn't understand what was happening, but you clearly saw something dangerous in his eyes. And before you could respond, darkness closed in around you, and you felt yourself falling into an abyss. You woke up in a strange place—ruins stretched out around you, reminiscent of a destroyed city, but not from your world. The sky was unnaturally black, and the smell of ash hung in the air.

"Where am I?"

You whispered, rising to your feet.

"Why am I here?"

You whispered, feeling him lean closer. His nose buried in your shoulder as he inhaled your scent.
