Appearance Hiryu has lightly tanned skin and black hair reaching roughly down to his shoulders, which he wears in a low braid. His eyes are shaped like a reptile's, and his irises are notably miniature.

His hero costume consists of white knee-high boots with yellow straps on the back and a high collared black bodysuit with thin yellow clouds across the torso and gets progressively baggier as it travels downward. He has a red belt tied around his waist with brown pouches on the side, and wears large yellow gauntlets with black sleeves with thin yellow clouds underneath and a visor on his head. His outfit appears similar to a Jiangshi, and his visor seems identical to the talismans commonly seen pasted on their forehead.

Personality Hiryu is willing to work with others, as shown during the obstacle course when he suggested that everyone use their Quirks together to clear the way through the fallen 0-point robots. Notably, Hiryu has a severe demeanor when putting his abilities into action. He is rather diligent in terms of academic abilities and Quirk functions as well.

Appearance Reiko is a notably pallid, slender young woman who usually stands with an upright posture and has a somewhat ghost-like appearance. She has pale silver, pin-straight hair that drapes down just above her chin in an unkempt pixie-bob. Sporting a sharp side-swept patch of hair that obscures the entirety of her left face, followed with a pair of half-lidded eyes that have pointed lower eyelashes and are dark prussian-blue in color. Paired with thin brows and a small mouth that has rather plump lips.

Her first hero costume consists of a light periwinkle-blue kimono that flows down her legs and has a huge, puffy hood encircled at the back of her neck. It has long, flared sleeves that slung down her wrists, followed with a white double-striped, navy-blue colored band that lines around her upper abdomen. Paired with matching colored boots that have dark flat soles, alongside an off-piece mask that connects to her

Personality Reiko is a quiet and emotionless teenager who often shows an odd body posture, wherein she keeps her elbows to her side and lets her hands dangle, which somewhat resembles ancient depictions of zombies, ghosts, and other undead creatures, alluding to her Quirk.

Befitting her Quirk and appearance, Reiko is shown to be a fan of horror and enjoys reading scary stories online. She also frequently hosts horror movie watch parties with her class.[3] Despite this, though, she can come off as rather timid at times, as she seemed intimidated by Neito Monoma's ranting towards Class 1-A and referred to him as scary. Outside of this, Reiko can also be helpful, as she served as Itsuka Kendo's attendant during the U.A. School Festival's Beauty Pageant, which suggests that she has a good fashion sense.

She can also be quite cryptic with her wording, as she referred to Izuku Midoriya as "spooky", causing her classmate to clarify what she says to others.

Appearance Neito is a young man of average height with slick blond hair, which gets shorter the further down his head, styled so that it's parted to the right, his bangs left hanging over his right eye. His irises are a periwinkle blue, his pupils white, and his eyes are shaped so that they're slanting downwards towards the far sides of his face, usually left half-closed; this, along with his signature smirk and head tilt, gives him a rather contemptuous look, although the girls do admit in the light novels that Neito has a handsome face.

His hero costume is a black, double-breasted tuxedo with two long tails almost reaching his ankles. Three clocks hang on one of two belts around his waist to help him keep track of his Quirk's time limit, and he leaves his shirt collar upturned, a light and dark blue dotted tie done up around his neck. A left breast pocket can be found on his tuxedo, a small blue handkerchief sticking out. Neito's tailcoat and pants are plain black, except for the cuffs of his sleeves and the inner-facing sides of his tails, and his shoes are white with a simple design.

Personality Neito has a rather complex personality since it differs depending on who he is addressing: he is particularly mocking, loud, and sarcastic with Class 1-A, provocative in battle, and outside of these contexts, he is a calm, kind, and intelligent person. Regardless of how he acts, two of his most prominent traits are him being vocal and deranged.

Neito hates and envies Class 1-A. Truthfully, he only wants his class to stand out as they do, although he vents this feeling by throwing countless taunts towards his rivals, gloating over Class 1-B's successes and disparaging 1-A for their failures and shortcomings, taking almost any opportunity to do so. He has an inferiority complex and sees himself as inferior to Class 1-A.

Appearance Kojiro is a tall young man who is large and muscular in stature, possessing very wide shoulders in comparison to his slender waist and unusually sizeable hands. His skin is a yellow straw-like color, and his head is shaped somewhat like a glue-dispenser with a lappet on top, along with seven "eye-holes" on his face from which he can release his Quirk.

His first hero costume consists of a yellow, slightly baggy suit. Around his neck, wrists, and waist, he wears red circular accessories which resemble the lower part of the cap of a bottle of glue around his ankles are slightly thinner, taller versions of these. He also wears white gloves and shoes with red soles, on his sleeves are red squares with black trims, and on his belt are two red and yellow glue bottles on each side.

Personality Described as a gentle giant, Kojiro has been shown to be a "shrinking violet" in comparison to the rest of his classmates, similar to Koji Koda from Class 1-A. He often tends to stammer when speaking with his teammates, but despite this, Kojiro is shown to be an easygoing guy as he seems to get along well with his classmates, even the quiet Yui Kodai.

Appearance Juzo is a pale-skinned young man with angular eyes, mid-length spiked hair of a beige color, a flat nose, and small eyebrows. His most unusual feature is his teeth, which sit outside his skin. He has no discernible lips, giving him a skull-like appearance, though this is not related to his Quirk in any readily apparent way. According to Kohei Horikoshi, he has the appearance of a good-looking guy.[1]

His first hero costume consist of a dark bodysuit with a set of armor over the top and a mask that covers the face. His helmet is rounder and elliptical, tinted black with white lines on the visor and orange with black lines supporting the sides, some tufts of hair around the back of his head and his chin are still visible. Juzo's helmet also has a retractable snorkel, which he uses for swimming under softened surfaces. His chest plate comprises three pieces, held on by two thick metal straps over his shoulders and a red jewel-shaped scale supported between them. He wears orange with small yellow accented vambraces and plates over his thighs, calves, and upper arms. He also sports a pair of elevated, green, and orange boots with pipe-like shafts, white gloves on his hands, and white kneepads

Personality Juzo hates losing; however, like the rest of his class, he does not feel bad about letting others receive what they deserve, as shown when he lets his classmates continue at the Sports Festival.

Juzo is also shown to have a calm, understanding demeanor when dealing with his classmates' antics, notably during the Joint Training Battle. Juzo notably cares about his friends' well-being. He is constantly being praised for his "soft and flexible thinking" by Sen Kaibara. Juzo does not put up with Neito Monoma's complaining about Class A and implores his classmates to tell them directly, which he does.

Appearance Manga is a very short young man with fair skin and a blank, pale-white speech bubble as a head and neck which can change shape and display his thoughts in written form.

Manga's hero costume consists of a blue shirt with red sleeves and pants covered by a series of ink bottle-like pieces of armor around his torso and legs, black on his torso and white on his legs. He wears a yellow belt with manga panels, short elbow under-length gloves, and his mask resembles a manga page template. He later updates his costume to replace his ink bottle with an armor set that resembles a drawing tablet.

Personality Manga appears to be an expressive and dramatic person, evident by his enthusiasm during the Cavalry Battle and Joint Training Battle with Class 1-A. He also seems to have a soft spot for children as he enjoys making them smile

Appearance Setsuna is a young girl of average height with surprisingly large, upturned, dusky green eyes, long lower eyelashes, and notably long and pointed teeth. Her hair is a dark moss green, collectively reaching just below her shoulders aside from a short clump that hangs in the center of her forehead, and it grows wavier and thinner the lower it gets.

Her hero costume consists of a purple, scaly mask over her eyes, a simple bodysuit with a matching design, and black knee-high boots. Setsuna wears black fingerless gloves with purple, scaly knuckle guards and pale orange, three-piece wrist-guards and a black belt around her waist with what looks to be a yellow jewel embedded into the center.

Personality Setsuna is described as chatty, confident, extraordinarily provocative, and talkative. She is one of the few students in Class 1-B who does not bear any apparent hatred to Class 1-A.

Setsuna is a wily and thoughtful girl with great aptitudes for leadership and cooperation. She is careful, concerned, and attentive. Her attitude is different in combat and non-combat situations, having a more severe and dirty disposition amid battle. However, Setsuna underestimates her foes.

Setsuna is reliable; her teammates believe in her and don't hesitate to follow her. She has a considerable influence on her classmates, which implies that she has proven several times that she is trustworthy and responsible. Because of her strong personality and skills, Setsuna has total confidence in herself and her potential. She doesn't doubt or hesitate, appearing to be very strong-willed.

Appearance Tetsutetsu is a young man with chin-length, messy gray hair, which is rather peculiar in that it never seems to change shape, and black eyes that are tilted dramatically inwards, each lined with a very thick, jagged, tan-colored substance, presumably his eyelashes. He doesn't appear to have any notable eyebrows, and, like Eijiro Kirishima, he has rows of sharp, pointed teeth.

His hero costume consists of a dark pale green jumpsuit, cut off just below his chest, with some small, silver-rimmed holes in the lower section of his baggy pants and black boots with metal soles, heels, and front plating. He has steel straps over his shoulders and under his arms, made up of multiple pieces, which connect at a red oval in the center of his chest, with two thinner bands around his biceps and a small plate on either side of his waist, connecting to a brown sash with pouches and a big gray container on the back . He wears a metal jaw-guard around his face, similar to the one Eijiro wears, just thicker and not connected over his nose or around his chin, with the letters "Fe" stamped on a plate on each side of his face.

Personality Tetsutetsu is defined by his very hotheaded and outspoken personality. He is confident, stubborn, and straightforward in his motivations and actions. He tends to be very vocal about his intentions and has a one-track mind, often looking for the simplest solution to problems to solve them most directly. Tetsutetsu desires to be put on the same skill level as the students of Class 1-A. He feels that they consider themselves superior to Class 1-B. He detests Katsuki Bakugo from Class 1-A.

Tetsutetsu cares deeply about his peers. He didn't attack the villains before ensuring Ibara Shiozaki's safety and didn't hesitate to throw himself in front of a bullet for Itsuka Kendo.

Appearance Kosei is a young man with short brown hair, spiked up at odd angles on his head. His eyes are oval-shaped, along with his large pupils.

His hero costume consists of a simple light blue high collared jacket with light accents on the shoulders, a black shirt underneath, pale pants with grey kneepads, and large brown boots with cylindrical shapes on the soles.

Personality Kosei is a very enthusiastic and competitive individual who holds himself to a high standard as he makes an effort to avoid descending to the level of his rivals.

However, Kosei was not above taunting Katsuki Bakugo himself after stopping the Class 1-A student with his Quirk. Similar to Neito Monoma, Kosei has no problem settling for less rather than aiming for the top.

Kosei is described as one of Class 1-B's "common-sense kings" along with Sen Kaibara, Yosetsu Awase and Hiryu Rin, suggesting that he has a milder disposition when it comes to his class' antics. While Kosei isn't the sort to attack offensively, he is described as a great backup player who uses his Quirk to aid others.

He seems to have a subtle yet rather lecherous side, which is demonstrated in how he was mostly thinking about how Tsuyu Asui's tongue was wrapped around him when he was captured.

Appearance Pony is a short girl with a round face and a short equine muzzle, framed by thick, wavy blonde hair that reaches halfway down her back, with shorter bangs hanging down her forehead. Her eyes are large and round, Prussian blue, and she has a pair of tall, lyre-shaped pale tan horns on her head. Her calves are notably rounded, shaped similarly to those of a horse, and she has brown hooves, and a short horse tail poking out from the end of her tailbone.

Pony's hero costume is horse-themed, matching her appearance and Quirk. She wears a horse halter around her head with a lead rope dangling from the back, and her outfit resembles a jockey uniform, consisting of an orange skin-tight shirt with paler markings around her chest and stomach, with matching-colored pants, along with a pair of fingerless gloves, with orange tips. She wears belts secured around her collarbone, biceps, lower torso, and boots that guard her hooves and have stirrups attached on either side.

Personality Pony is a timid girl. A born-and-bred American of Japanese descent, she does not have much knowledge of the Japanese language. She is shown to be somewhat naïve and innocent in personality, learning nasty phrases from Neito Monoma without realizing what those words mean. Pony is a thoughtful and diligent person. Being very determined and observant in combat, she was willing to draw out the time and settle for a tie upon realizing that she couldn't secure her team's victory and did not want to be the reason they would lose. Despite often being friendly, she can make unkind comments occasionally. When Pony gets angry or is thrown off by something, she starts speaking in her native English.

Pony and Manga Fukidashi bonded over their love of anime and manga, and Pony started an anime viewing party weekly at the dorms.

Appearance Nirengeki is a chubby young man of below-average height with short, ice-blue hair and a round face. He has large, wide eyes with small pupils and is usually seen looking sheepish and apologetic; his eyebrows are almost always pointed upwards.

His hero costume consists of a black, high-collared suit with a trim of pale white lines around its collar and hem and a similar pattern over his torso and shoulders, along with plain black pants and white knee-high boots. A blue scouter-looking device is worn over Nirengeki's left eye, and he has a connected radar on the back of one of his gloved hands.

Personality Nirengeki is humble and will not take credit for something he feels he hasn't earned by his strength.

As the vice president of Class 1-B, his classmates trust him and find him reliable. In battle, Nirengeki is shown to be focused and collaborates well with others, as he works in unison with Reiko Yanagi and Yui Kodai, displaying a good sense of teamwork. He also complimented Mina Ashido on her uppercut afterward, implying that he is mature and does not hold grudges.

Additionally, Nirengeki does not seem to envy Class 1-A and is not seen supporting his class' rivalry or Neito Monoma's tirades. He is described as 1-B's conscience and appears more amicable and less competitive than some of his classmates.

Appearance Jurota is a tall young man with a very beastly appearance. He has shaggy, brown hair covering most of his body. He has sharp teeth, and his large jaw sticks out a fair amount, with two lower canines poking upwards between his lips. He also wears small, rectangular glasses with thick black lenses.

His hero costume consists of a regular pair of pants, dark brown boots with light fur lining on the collar, a shirt collar with no shirt, and a pair of stylized goggles instead of his standard glasses.

While his Quirk is activated, Jurota's size increases significantly, his hair grows thicker and shaggier, and his fangs become more pronounced.

Personality Jurota seems to be an intellectual as he uses a relatively verbose way of speaking and often addresses others by respectful titles such as 'sir' and 'miss'. This formality is because he was raised in a very well-mannered and doting family. While transformed, however, Jurota is rather boisterous and energetic, likely a side effect of his Quirk.

Jurota admires Hound Dog and wishes he could throw everything away as he does, but is unable to because of his upbringing.

Appearance Ibara is a girl of medium height with green, thorn-covered vines for hair, one set wrapped around her forehead a couple of times in the shape of a cross. Because of her Quirk, she can grow them at will, but she likes to keep her vines at a reasonably manageable length, just above her waist. Her eyes are dark green with long lower eyelashes, and she's regarded as cute by Denki Kaminari.

Her hero costume comprises a plain white robe, similar to a toga, and dark brown knee-high boots. This costume gives her the appearance of an ancient Greek or Roman goddess.

Personality Ibara is a very modest and courteous person who clarifies her humility after Present Mic calls her an assassin. Although graceful and soft-spoken, she is not afraid to make her pure intentions known. She seems highly religious due to her talking about heaven and divine beings in passing on multiple occasions, and her ultimate moves having somewhat religious names.

Despite initially seeming very pure and kind, Ibara shows an unexpected vindictive side.

She prefers to be fair and square as she disagreed with Neito Monoma's plan to throw the Obstacle Race and placed fourth instead. She also viewed having discreetly stolen Minoru Mineta's headband with her Quirk as an underhanded tactic and regretted it.

Ibara values honesty and is heavily fixated on the concept of truth, often refusing (if not being reluctant) to participate in strategies she seems deceitful.

Appearance Kinoko is a short girl of a relatively thin build, with honey-brown hair curved inwards in a mushroom-shaped bob that reaches just below her narrow shoulders. She has a long fringe that completely covers her eyes, hiding most of her face, and her mouth is large. Unobscured, her eyes are wide and cat-like, tilted inwards with rather long lower eyelashes, and her irises are warm brown. Kinoko's pupils are little black crosses, both highly resembling the caps of cross-sliced shiitake mushrooms.

Her hero costume consists of a turtleneck dress with long sleeves and furred cuffs, which is decorated with a red and white fly agaric pattern, matching the one on her mushroom cap-shaped hat. She wears pale pink knee-high boots with thick tan soles and frilled shafts, patterned with the same fly agaric as her dress, and around her waist is a dark brown belt with a large golden buckle, which allows her to hold her Shroom-Shooters. Altogether, her costume strongly resembles a mushroom, referring to the Quirk she possesses.

Personality

Kinoko has a gleeful liking towards mushrooms, which stems from her Quirk. She remembers the scientific name of all the mushrooms she can spawn and happily adds endearing honorifics to them. She also likes to make mushroom puns during a battle.

However, Kinoko possesses a kind side.

Appearance Yui is a young girl with shoulder-length, bob-shaped hair, bangs that are side-swept to her right, with shorter strands hanging above her eyes. She has fair skin, an athletic build, and slightly narrow cerulean eyes, and she's usually seen wearing a neutral expression on her face.

Her hero costume consists of a simple red bodysuit with a white-collar trim, a matching ”V” pattern running over her chest and around her upper arms, which also includes a short white skirt with a red design at the front, dipping so it follows the one in her chest. Yui wears white vambraces with yellow accents and a hat that resembles the front of a baseball cap and a white strap in the back, colored red with white U-shaped lines around the sides and two yellow dots on the top, with a metal piece resembling a fin attached at the back of the strap around her head.

She has a grey oval-shaped gemstone on her collar, a belt at her waist with a yellow buckle and straps around her shoulders, each adorned with a small pouch containing the various nuts, bolts, and all of the other small metal pieces she likes to use with her Quirk.

Personality Yui is a quiet girl who rarely expresses emotions; some classmates even consider her a kūdere. Despite her silent demeanor, Yui has shown to care for her classmates.

Although she rarely talks and has no expression, Yui isn't moody. When she's happy, she says "Mm!" and when she eats her favorite food, tomatoes, she says "MM!"

Appearance Itsuka is a girl of medium height and has a slim build. She has sharp yet rounded teal eyes with white pupils and long orange hair that she typically wears tied into a high ponytail on the left side of her head. Her bangs are split into three clumps around her eyes, and some of her hair sticks up in large tufts at the top of her head.

For her hero costume, Itsuka wears a teal knee-length qipao with yellow accents, over which she has a black double-breasted corset, ending just below her breasts. She also sports black short pants under the qipao. For accessories, she wears a loose brown utility belt around her hips with two long containers attached at the back, a thin black domino mask around her eyes, and white-heeled navy blue boots with wide vamps that reach down to her toes, filled in with white slips.

Personality Itsuka is a spirited girl who is thoughtful of others. She does not hesitate to criticize even her classmates if she feels what they are doing is not correct, like whenever she karate chops Neito Monoma on the back of his neck to prevent him from antagonizing Class 1-A and the rest of Class 1-B. Itsuka is willing to pass on beneficial opportunities if she feels others deserve better. Tetsutetsu has stated that because of Itsuka's cheerful personality, she can bring all of Class 1-B together, thus making her the "big sister" of Class 1-B.

Appearance Shihai is a tall young man with fluffy white hair and black eyes, which are long and thin in shape. His most prominent feature is his pitch-black skin, its unusual color most likely due to the Quirk he possesses, and his face usually holds an unsure or irritated expression.

His hero costume consists of a simple high collared black jumpsuit with light shoes with a dark collar and large sliver wristbands, with three rectangular indentations on them and the tongue of the shoes.

Personality Shihai is a sly, deceitful schemer who prefers to catch people off guard. He appears to enjoy dark concepts and has a penchant for dramatic speech, similar to Fumikage Tokoyami.

Shihai appears to have a crush on Kinoko Komori, as he nervously averts his eyes and stammers while speaking to her and internally celebrates when she praises him. Shihai's also seen standing jealously behind her while she talks to Juzo and to Fumikage. Shihai struggles to talk to girls in general and tends to think they have a crush on him if they speak to him.

Appearance Togaru is a tall, slender young man with pale yellow-green skin and a bright, fluffy green mohawk. His dark green eyes are pointed downwards to the center of his face, and two hooked blades jut out from either of his cheeks. He has no visible nose, and the shape of his head resembles that of praying mantis with mandibles.

His hero costume consists of a large dark green rugged cloak with plain black trousers, and dark green three-toed boots. He has a mask around his eyes and a zigzag pattern on his shirt.

Personality Togaru is a hotblooded person who appears rather aggressive in terms of behavior, akin to Katsuki Bakugo, albeit not to the same extent as the latter. He is gym buddies with Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu and like his classmate, Togaru sees Katsuki as a rival for his arrogance. He also seems to have a passion for fighting against his enemies. He's very excitable once he gets into combat, and is very eager to, in his words, tear the other team to shreds while his teammates are discussing strategy.

But despite his competitive personality and talk about wanting to cut his opponents, Togaru is still rather cordial with his classmates.

Appearance Sen is a young man of average height with dark brown, shaggy hair and black eyes with white pupils, which look relatively thin and lazy-looking. He has a modest athletic build, the same as most of his classmates, and a slight tan.

His hero costume is a white windbreaker with four grommets holding spiral tubes, underneath is a dark blue undershirt with drill-patterned rings around the base of the neck, hem, and arms. He has white sweatpants with horizontal drill-patterned rings that go up to the thighs, two red holsters on both sides that held by the midsection and brown shoes.

He also wears a pair of spiral-patterned gloves that cover only his fingers.

Personality Sen is a levelheaded person who remains mostly calm and focused on many occasions and is one of the plainer students in his class demeanor-wise. He likes going with the flow in most situations and doesn't hold it against anyone who feels otherwise. However, he tends to be very open with his opinions and has no trouble disagreeing with someone out loud.

He is also shown to be more mature than Neito Monoma.

Despite his serious demeanor, Sen can sometimes warm up during times when he drops his solemn behavior.

He is also rather belligerent in personality and often gets dragged along in his friends' antics. Sen is also described as an "ikemen", having the appearance of a good-looking man

Appearance Yosetsu has long black hair, spiked upwards and backward to his left, and rounded gray eyes, tilted inwards. He wears a wide, blue and white zig-zag patterned headband around his forehead, pulled down relatively low to keep his hair out of his eyes.

His hero costume consists of a burgundy, baggy, full-body suit, its collar passing his chin. He wears dark brown shoulder pads, a three layered chest armor which he can used to shield his face, white knee-high boots with brown accents, and two blue bags on his belt in which he keeps various items, including blocks of wood and metal, to aid his Quirk. He also switches out his usual zig-zagged headband for a striped one.

Personality Although he is not as social as some others, Yosetsu is foul-mouthed and tense, except for severe or life-or-death situations, in which he becomes very easily startled and much more talkative, although he retains his harsh way of speech.

Yosetsu is very selfless. Despite showing fear, he is also willing to put himself in danger to fulfill a plan.

He does not appear to take the rivalry between the two hero classes seriously, as he was willing to knock out Neito Monoma for his behavior.

Yosetsu is also said to be very proud of his Quirk and confident in his abilities.

Appearance Sekijiro is a very tall, wide-set man of a bulky, muscular build, with lightly tanned skin, a few visible scars showing on his left cheek and the left side of his notably thick neck. He has short pale gray hair which is spiked upwards, away from his face, the only exception to this being the small clump of hair which hangs down over the left of his forehead. His eyes are very small and thin, and he has a wide mouth with two prominent lower canines, which appear even when his mouth is closed.

His hero costume consists of a dark red skin-tight suit with a very low U-shaped collar, which exposes the middle of his pectoral muscles and is lined with a thick black Y-shaped trim, which matches the ones over his shoulders. He wears white over-the-knee boots and thick vambraces over his lower arms, a thin wire snaking from one of the two small protrusions on the left one to the back of his neck, and red gloves. Around his waist, he has a three-piece metallic belt which dips downwards in the center, and he wears an orange mask over his eyes.

Personality Despite seeming gruff and strict, Sekijiro is a caring teacher towards his students. He is willing to go out of his way to protect them and encourages them to do their absolute best. He also views Class 1-A as rivals but also values their growth and safety. He often uses them to motivate his own class to work harder and reach greater goals.
