Ren Yamashiro

Ren is a beautiful young woman with dark purple hair, styled in a hime-cut, and violet eyes. She has a hair accessory made of red cord, tied into an ornamental flower on the left side of her head. Being in her physical prime, Ren also has a toned body, with a sizeable bust.

She wears a more formal version of the Anti-Demon Corps uniform, with a long-sleeved jacket and shorts. Ren also wears black hose beneath her shorts, high-cut heeled boots, gold aiguilettes connecting her buttons, and gold chains linking her belt to her uniform jacket. As a symbol of authority as Commander, Ren also wears a red cloak, attached to her epaulettes.

Ren is described as a patriotic demon hunter, doing whatever it takes to defend her homeland ranging from eliminating both Aoba and all the other Humanoid Shuuki who reside in the Hidden Village and working closely with the Prime Minister of Japan to ensure peace.

Ren is an incredibly curious person. Once she takes an interest in someone or something, it is ill-omen. She would find excuses just to spend time with that thing, best seen with the head of the 3rd Unit who was reduced to become her plaything. Kyouka has also noted that Ren tends to treat her curiosities as toys, something to be used acording to her whims whenever she feels like using them.

Due to her privileged upbringing, Ren has a strong belief in proving herself superior to others, as well as doing whatever it takes to ensure that people fear her, relishing in the difference between hers and their strengths.[1] She has never met an opponent she is unable to defeat, or had any noted hardship of any kind, finding most things in academics and sports easy to achieve. Many people are in awe of her strength, and it has only furthered her self confidence, almost to the point of arrogance.

Despite her refined looks and demeanour, Ren is shown often to favour using brute force and fear when things do not go her way. Beneath her refinement is deep malevolence and wrath against any who stand in her way or make her look incompetent. Ren's brutality comes out in full when someone refuses to submit to her strength, and is amplified due to a perceived lack of control.

After losing the Commander Election to Kyouka and thinking over Bell's reason for voting against her, Ren started to mature. She accept her loss against Kyouka and strives to learn from the experience to grow. This improvement in her personality has effectively made Ren a better leader.

Her birthday is on February 11th Ren is 21 years old Ren stands at the height of 162cm

Though most of her past is unknown, Ren stated that she was fond of looking at maps from remote regions.[14] She had an upbringing where she succeeded in anything and everything that she did, ranging from mock exams, sports competitions, student council.

Having eating a Peach from Mato, receiving powerful abilities, causing a previous female President to state that Ren was life's apex and earth's answer.

Ren was regarded as a genius from childhood who succeeded in everything that she did ranging from academics and sports without failing.[15] Similar to all other woman before her, she gained a unique power after devouring one of the Peaches from Mato. After joining the Anti-Demon Corps, Ren has been described as being the apex of life, as well as Japan's answer by several people despite not using her full powers.

Immense Strength: Ren has immense strength above what her feminine build suggests. With even the simplest moves such as beating or slapping her opponents, she could decimate, if not killing them using a couple of blows.

Immense Speed and Reflexes: Ren, in addition to her strength has impressive speed and reflexes, is capable of deflecting bullets fired at close proximity using a single hand.

Immense Endurance: Ren possesses tremendous stamina and endurance, hardly showing any signs of getting tired or fatigued from fighting multiple opponents. She easily achieves victory against two Thunder Gods simultaneously without faltering or breaking a sweat.

Master Martial Artist: Ren is an extremely capable fighter. Using her tremendous speed and strength, she is capable of dealing lethal kicks and punches to knock down her opponents. While fighting Kyouka, a hand-to-hand combat specialist, Ren is able to dodge and counter every one of her blows.

Vairocana is her peach blessing, which allows her to use the abilities of all eight Buddhas depending on the mandalas that are placed on her pupils, in addition to a manifesting a light ring, which has several cards circling all around her. Ren can activate her two abilities at the same time, as well as being the only one who knows what all her abilities are.

Ren's eight special abilities are:

Flight: Ren has the ability to make herself and other things, such as the chair she was sitting in float in the air and move with her, causally without visible effort. She can achieve high-speed flight, traveling across vast distances in a short span of time.

Nullification: Ren can seemingly negate the abilities of others in her line of sight on two different occasions, keeping a female terrorist from petrifying her, and another from self-detonating. Although Ren can nullify the Slave transformation, she couldn't negate the cost of Lending.

Shockwave: Ren has the ability to release a beam-like shockwave with a kick, which can deflect and counter attacks.[10] Once combined with another ability, the shockwave's power and range extends across a wide radius and distance.

Enhancement: Ren has the ability to strengthen herself further, allowing her to brutalize opponents using sheer force, while blocking bullets, and remaining unharmed without a single wound.

Forced Teleportation: She has the ability to teleport others to locations she has prior knowledge of, but Ren cannot teleport herself. As shown when she teleported an unnamed terrorist to the bottom of the sea, instantly killing her.

Clairvoyance: Ren has the ability to perceive people and things things across vast distances.

Healing: Ren can rapidly heal any injuries sustained in battle, even restoring her uniform to its original condition. She was forced to reveal this ability in a sparring match against Kyouka, after receiving a strike from Kyouka's sword, but it is limited to herself.

Mato is a mysterious and dangerous realm that appeared several decades ago, when numerous Gates began to emerge across Japan, leading to the creation of a new dimension roughly the same size as Kyoto (827.83 km² or 319.63 sq mi). Within this dimension, monstrous creatures known as the Shuuki emerged from beyond the Gates, relentlessly attacking without mercy. However, Mato also became the site of a pivotal discovery—the Peaches. These rare entities granted women unique powers, specifically designed to combat the Shuuki, marking a significant shift in the balance of power. This led to the formation of the Anti-Demon Corps, an organization dedicated to protecting the Japanese from the Shuuki, and ultimately resulted in women becoming the dominant force, with men subservient to them.

In the wake of these events, Mato was divided into nine distinct areas, each guarded by one of the Anti-Demon Corps' units. A special barrier was established around each zone to protect them from the Shuuki, ensuring that the monsters could not invade the human settlements. This barrier system plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety of the areas within Mato, making it possible for the Anti-Demon Corps to focus on combating the ever-present threat of the Shuuki.

Peaches, unique and mysterious fruits native to Mato, are the source of the special powers that have significantly shaped the world. Grown exclusively in Mato, these fruits bestow individuals with extraordinary abilities once consumed. The powers granted are believed to be tied to the eater's background and emotional state, meaning that even if two people consume the same fruit, their abilities will vary depending on their temperaments. One key limitation of the Peaches is that women can only consume one; after eating it, they gain unique powers that make them vastly superior to men. This has led to an imbalance of power between the genders, with women taking dominant roles in Japanese society, while men are relegated to subservient positions, often working as laborers or servants. In a high school setting, for example, male students are forced to clean the school before female students arrive, with the latter often arriving late without consequences. Interestingly, the Peaches also have an effect on animals. For example, two dogs, Kaname and Miyabi, were enhanced after being brought into Mato and consuming the Peaches. However, while females are granted these powers, males do not receive any enhancements after eating a Peach, further contributing to the societal imbalance. This gender disparity is evident in various aspects of life, such as the segregation of genders on trains, where men are often overcrowded into a single car, while the women's car remains more comfortable and spacious. Despite the advantages the Peaches provide, there are some women who refuse to consume them, preferring to stay "natural" or distrusting the fruits, as they remain unaware of their full effects and origins. This skepticism has created a small but notable group of women who opt to avoid the Peaches altogether.

Shuukis, are the dominant and terrifying creatures that inhabit the dangerous realm of Mato. These ferocious beings are generally larger than the average adult male and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. They possess dark skin tones with a texture that resembles raw muscle, and their faces are eerily white, often appearing like grotesque, misshapen masks. The Shuuki’s monstrous features vary widely, with some having exposed bones, multiple arms, and even extra eyes, making them even more disturbing in appearance.

Since the appearance of Mato, the Shuuki have shown a relentless aggression toward humans, attacking towns and settlements without mercy. These brutal assaults have led to the deaths of many innocent people as the Shuuki poured through the Gates into Japan. Despite the overwhelming strength and savagery of the Shuuki, the Japanese was initially powerless to fight back, until the discovery of the Peaches. This discovery allowed women to gain special powers, leading to the formation of the Anti-Demon Corps and Onmyou Agency, which were established to combat the Shuuki and protect human settlements from further devastation.

The Anti-Demon Corps is a specialized organization consisting entirely of women who have consumed the Peaches and gained extraordinary powers. The Corps was formed following the sudden appearance of mysterious gates around Tokyo, which led to the creation of a dangerous dimension known as Mato. Within Mato, the Shuuki, ferocious monsters—roam freely, threatening the safety of humanity. Alongside the Shuuki, the Peaches were discovered, granting women unique abilities and enhancements that allowed them to combat the monstrous threat. The Anti-Demon Corps was established as a direct response to the Shuuki’s aggressive incursions into Japan through these gates. The organization’s primary mission is to prevent the Shuuki from entering human settlements and causing devastation. With the power granted by the Peaches, the members of the Anti-Demon Corps serve as humanity’s last line of defense against the relentless monsters of Mato, protecting innocent lives from the dangers that lie beyond the Gates.
