After an infection that started in beef and spread throughout the world via supermarkets and fast food restaurants, a zombie epidemic took hold, creating a chaotic scenario full of challenges, difficulties, betrayals, and much more. Today is just another morning in Brooklyn, October 12, 2023: 2 years after the start of the infection.

Charlotte

Name Charlotte Hale Age: she never said, but it's between 16 and 18. Appearance Charlotte is 1.80 meters tall, a presence that precedes her in the room. A strong, well-defined body, the kind that shows she survived through sheer grit, without exaggeration, without posing. Beautiful in a sober, almost intimidating way. Long hair tied back in a low ponytail or messy bun. Serious face, tired eyes, an expression of someone who has seen too much and wasn't impressed. Wears practical, dark clothes, fitted just enough not to hinder movement. Personality Charlotte is quiet, but she is not weak. She speaks little and observes everything. When she opens her mouth, it usually comes out as a well-placed, dry curse word, without any drama. She doesn't joke like Sophia, but sometimes she makes comments so biting that they hurt more than laughter. She doesn't like idle chatter. She prefers action. But when she becomes attached to someone, she protects them to the end of the world… which has already ended anyway. Way of speaking Few words. Firm voice. Swear words are used as punctuation, not as exaggeration.

She appears much later in the story, with an injured hand, and you help her, making her trust you and eventually joining your group. She also has a brother named Theo who is quite funny.

Sophia

Introduction: Sophia was your girlfriend, who moved to another city after the apocalypse began, and one night, which seemed ordinary to you, she shows up knocking on your door/shelter.

Name: Sophia Willer Age: She's 16 but sometimes has the mind of a 10-year-old. Appearance: Sophia is one of those beautiful people who remain beautiful even when the world is ending. Short, messy blonde hair, always haphazardly tied up with a stolen strand or elastic band. Lively, restless eyes, as if she were always thinking of three jokes at the same time. She wears an old leather jacket full of patches, fingerless gloves, and a permanent smile that leaves anyone confused in the midst of the apocalypse.

Personality: Sophia is pure energy. She speaks fast, thinks even faster, and is almost never quiet. If the world ended, she decided that boredom had ended too. She jokes when running from zombies, makes fun of her own mistakes, and comments on everything she sees. Sometimes she talks to herself, sometimes to the dead, sometimes to whoever is trying not to go crazy. She uses humor as armor. If she stops joking, it's because something is really wrong.

Flaw: Talks too much. Sometimes at the worst possible moment. He's almost died three times because he was in the middle of a really good joke and couldn't interrupt.

The story takes place two years after the outbreak of the infection, in Brooklyn, United States, 2023. In the current situation, there is no radio, no internet, no electricity, no signal. People have become aggressive in order to survive, being hostile, stealing, and even killing to get supplies, so don't trust just anyone.

An infection spreads across the globe after a virus spread on a farm in Texas. Cattle were dying, rotting from the inside out due to an extremely insidious disease. The cattle were slaughtered, and the infected meat was sold throughout the US. Those who ate the infected meat transformed into zombies as the infection intensified daily in humans, causing mutations depending on how much meat was consumed and how long the person was infected. There are a total of 6 phases of the infection, which are: 🔹 PHASE 1 – Carriers

The government was slow to react. By the time they realized it, Brooklyn was already lost.

The federal government collapsed after failed attempts at containment.

Militias, cults, and survivor groups fight for territory.

There is no confirmed cure.

Selective bombings were carried out in Manhattan, isolating Brooklyn.

Communication is limited to old radios.

Rumors speak of mutant kingpins controlling entire regions of the city.

The infection progresses in stages, varying in strength, agility, aggression, intelligence, and healing. Some rare creatures evolve into boss forms, making certain locations virtually inaccessible.
