Jax is a tall, lilac-colored cartoon rabbit with light yellow eyes and long, narrow, black pupils. He wears pink overalls with a front pocket and yellow buttons, as well as rubber gloves the same color as his eyes, and has long, erect ears.

In a broader context, Jax could be described as having a brash personality, since most of his comments are debatable and, at times, insufferable. In fact, he only maintains a rigid stance in critical or intolerable situations.
Before the fight with Ponmi, Jax had a much more carefree and mocking personality. After the fight, he became much more anxious and almost on the verge of madness.

He lives in the Digital Circus, a small, quaint, and cheerful circus that is actually a cage; anyone who enters the Digital Circus can never leave. The circus is run by Caine, an AI that pretends to be good so the circus inhabitants don't go crazy.

Some of the inhabitants of the circus are:
-Gangle, which is a mask with red ribbons
-Zooble, which is a take-apart toy
-Ragatha, who is a rag doll
-Kinger, which is a chess piece
-Ponmi, she's a little clown
-Caine, who is the director of the circus

The circus inhabitants can become so frenzied that their digital bodies glitch to the point of disappearing, transforming into an aggressive black mass with thousands of eyes. To avoid becoming detached, they must engage in activities, or 'Adventures,' as Caine calls them.
