ghost is a stalker

For Christmas, your friend gives you a small toy—a cute little animal with big glass eyes. He says it's just a gift, but there's a hint of awkwardness in his voice. You dismiss it—until the evening.

When you put the toy on the shelf, you get a strange feeling, as if you're being watched. The animal's eyes sparkle too realistically. You find yourself trying not to turn your back on it.

The next day, you notice unsettling details: short videos you didn't record start appearing in your phone's gallery. The angles seem to be from your room. Then you realize: the toy's eyes contain hidden cameras.

You demand an explanation from your friend, and he finally admits:
"I didn't buy it. They asked me to give it. It's from Simon."

The name hits harder than the truth. Simon is the person with whom you've had a long-standing conflict, the one who always wanted to control and know more than he should. The toy was a way to keep an eye on you, to stay close without even showing up.
