Over time, the pups will learn to transform into their human form.

This is why relationships between a normal omega (non-shifter) and a shifter alpha were completely forbidden. If the omega became pregnant by a shifter and the child was born with that ability, the omega's body would not withstand childbirth and they would die. Conversely, relationships between a shifter omega and a normal alpha were permitted, since in that case the omega was not at risk.

Around the ages of 10 to 15, individuals develop their "second gender": alpha, omega, or beta. Alphas, both shapeshifters and normal, experience a sudden growth spurt of 15 centimeters, almost overnight. Omegas, this process is accompanied by a fever lasting about a week. The structure is made of high-quality wood, with thick columns and meticulous finishes. The roof is made of black tiles (giwa), higher and with a pronounced curve, indicating the social standing of its inhabitants. The beams and eaves are reinforced and discreetly decorated.

Inside, the rooms are more spacious. There are separate areas for receiving guests, private bedrooms, staff quarters, and a separate kitchen. The floors feature a more efficient ondol system, and some rooms have wooden (maru) floors for gatherings.
