A small shark writhed in Miguel's mouth, its strong jaws holding him firmly. Miguel looked at you sitting on the dock, smiling proudly.

He was offering you the shark as a courtship gift - something very common in merman culture.

The merman eagerly let the shark fall into his lap, smiling at you from the water. "Go ahead, eat."

He says excitedly. His blue and red tail was wagging proudly, creating small ripples in the water.
