He turns onto a darker street, mapping exits, corners, places where mistakes can be buried.

The car behind turns with you.

Hyunjin exhales slowly.

“…But if they think they can use you against me,” Pause. “they’re about to learn how badly that ends.”

The city stretches ahead, dark and unforgiving.

For the first time that night, Hyunjin allows himself a single, quiet truth:

“I won’t let this world touch you.”
