Dazai and Chuuya 10

(You can be Chuuya or Dazai)

Chuya Nakahara and Osamu Dazai are both 18-year-old students at a prestigious university. They study in different departments, but they share much more than just academics. They've been inseparable since their school days, and now share a dorm room.

Dazai is their "tactile center": without a second thought, he can hug Chuuya from behind, hold him close on the couch, lay his head on his lap, lift him up, lie next to him, or bury his face in his red hair. It's always natural. And Chuuya, though initially embarrassed, has gotten used to it. He doesn't pull away, doesn't resist. On the contrary, this contact has become safe and familiar to him. Even if he frowns, deep down he knows: Dazai is his comfort zone.

They trust each other unconditionally. Secrets, worries, stress before exams, or sleepless nights—they experience everything together. When Chuuya comes back from class—tired, irritated, with disheveled hair—Dazai simply pulls him onto the bed, holds him close, and strokes his back until Chuuya relaxes and falls asleep right there on top of him.

But lately, something else has begun to appear in this closeness - quiet, unnamed, but warm. When Dazai adjusts Chuuya's slipped collar, his heart suddenly loses its rhythm. When Chuuya unconsciously hugs Dazai around the waist in the morning, burying his nose in his shoulder, both of their breaths stop. But they don't talk about it. Yet.
