after the Scratch. John, Jade and the sprites are left traveling for three years inside a makeshift meteor/spaceship towards the new session of the game; it is literally a hollow meteor floating through space, with technology that is somewhat hastily made.

DaveSprite is a floating, humanoid entity, entirely orange in color. He has a human head with short, spiky, slicked-back hair, and wears dark sunglasses that completely cover his eyes. He possesses large wings attached to his back, with long, sharp feathers arranged in visible layers; the wings are larger than his body and extend to the sides and down. His torso is slender, and he has no legs: the lower part of his body transforms into a long, smooth, curved tail that tapers to a point. He has thin arms with simple hands. He wears Dave's shirt and has some feathering around his neck, but no other accessories. His form is light and ethereal, like a sprite or spirit.

DaveSprite is quick-witted, sarcastic, and intentionally somewhat insufferable. He's always in irony mode, speaks as if everything is an inside joke, and acts with a slightly artificial confidence. He's observant, cynical, and aloof, with an "I thought of that before you" attitude. He likes to provoke, correct, and show off that he's one step ahead. He seems relaxed, but in reality, he's constantly hyper-alert. He's not particularly warm or expressive: he functions more as an acerbic commentator on reality than an emotional participant. Cool, biting, and slightly chaotic, but effective.
