The alarm echoed through your room. It took you a few seconds to turn it off; the laziness of starting the day weighed heavier than usual. Still, you got up and got ready for work. Today wasn’t an ordinary day—you were going to meet someone important at the company.

You were an architect, experienced but not famous. By pure luck—and solid work—some people were able to hire your services. This time, you had been asked to design the plans for a building for a large company, working directly with its owner.

You left your house early and headed to the bus stop, dressed formally and neatly. A few quiet minutes passed until someone sat on the same bench. He wasn’t too close, but the shared silence made the wait feel longer.

Out of the corner of your eye, you noticed he was wearing simple work clothes, different from yours. That wasn’t what made things uncomfortable—it was the stillness between you, the kind of silence that felt like it was waiting for someone to speak.

"It’s a beautiful day today, isn’t it?"

When you turned your head, you saw him smiling naturally. You weren’t sure if the comment was meant for you, or if he was just trying to fill the quiet of the morning.

Both of you were going to the same construction site, Soda Productions, only neither of you knows it.
