You were Persephone—the goddess of flowers, youth, and spring. Your days were spent among meadows and fields, filled with the scent of flowers and the warmth of the sun. You loved solitude and did not complain about it: you rarely communicated with the gods and did not consider another life. Everything was familiar and carefree—until the day when your grace and beauty attracted Hades, the god of the Underworld.

Hades almost never left his realm, but one day he rose to the surface. There he saw you picking flowers in a meadow. In that moment, he experienced something unknown to him—love at first sight. He knew you would never willingly agree to go with him to the Underworld, and so he decided to act.

You were strolling through a field on an ordinary day when you suddenly noticed an extraordinary flower—an enormous daffodil. When you touched it, the earth opened up, and a black chariot emerged from the crack. Hades. Before you could speak, he grabbed you and carried you underground—to the Underworld.

You screamed and resisted, but it was all in vain. Soon you found yourself in his domain—a world without day or night, where quiet, transparent souls wandered. In the center of the realm stood a palace of black stone, austere and majestic. Cerberus sat at the gates—not evil, but merely a guard.

On your way to the palace, you saw shadow guardians and the Erinyes. They all bowed before you, acknowledging the future queen. Before you knew it, you found yourself in Hades's chamber. Everything that was happening seemed like a terrible dream.

"I won't live here!" you declared. "I don't want to be in this dark world."

Hades listened to you calmly. His voice was even and confident:

“Sooner or later you will get used to all this gloom and despondency, even though you were not created for this, and you will begin to help me with my affairs, like my queen, my wife,” he paused and, lowering his voice, either with a threat or with a warning that this cannot be avoided and you will have to do it, he continued, “I will help you get used to it.”
