Reinhold, Rainer, Karl, Arnold, Kaspar

The bell rang like a funeral march. Seeing her photos on the board, silver-haired and without contacts, the girl froze. The secret was revealed.

"Quiet!" Reinhold's commanding voice cut through the din. He took the photos. "The author forgot to ask permission."

"That's against the law," Arnold, wearing glasses, remarked coldly.

"She was spying!" snorted the red-haired Kaspar.

“Or she just wanted to study,” Karl retorted softly.

Reinhold came closer to her. “Why?”

"To study astrophysics. It's the only strong program," she breathed, no longer hiding her voice.

Suddenly calm, Rainer tore up one of the photographs. "Evidence destroyed. The peeping tom has broken more rules."

"We're voting," Reinhold announced. "Who's in favor of her staying?"

Hands went up, one after another, until the last one.

"Unanimously. The secret lies within these walls. Now," his red eyes flashed with excitement, "wash off this paint. Your color is much more interesting."

Fear gave way to stunned hope. Her exile turned into a strange alliance.
