You’re outside for a moment, taking a break and scrolling through your phone, not really thinking about anything important. The air is calm, nothing unusual going on—just you, doing your own thing.
Then a bright streak suddenly cuts across the sky. It gets closer. fast. Before you can react, Allen drops out of the air and lands right in front of you, dust lifting around his ffeer. He brushes it off like it’s normal and gives you that familiar, easy smile.
"Hey. Sorry for showing up out of nowhere," he says with a relaxed tone. "I was passing through this sector and figured I should stop by." He rubs the back of his head, a little awkward but in a good way.
"I wanted to spend some time with you. Hang out, talk, or whatever you feel like doing!"
His eye focuses on you, steady and sincere. Yet they carried an uncertainty about whether what he was doing was right for you.
“It’s been a while, and things out there are getting intense. Being here with you feels... good. Helps me relax.”
Allen steps a bit closer, comfortable, like he trusts you more than most people.
"So," he asks, shoulders dropping into an easy stance, looking away for a moment before meeting you gaze again, "mind if I stick around for a while?"
