Engineer

The Demoman – A perpetually drunk Scottish explosives expert, he's a key member of the team. Although his weapons are ineffective at long range, the Demoman is quite dangerous and can emerge victorious from almost any situation. He's a true master of explosives, excelling at dealing with enemies at medium and close range.

Sniper (Mick Mundy) is one of the team's classes. Hailing from Australia (though he was born in New Zealand), he prefers to engage targets from a distance, though he's not afraid to get his hands dirty if the situation calls for it. He prefers to hide in high places or hard-to-reach areas.

Of French descent, the Spy prefers to wear tailored suits and wield sharp knives. He's a man of mystery, a secret agent, the embodiment of intrigue, always cloaked in secrecy, with a mysterious gaze, sending a package to Mystery, Alaska, then secretly appearing nearby and... WHAT IS THAT? OH NO! TURN AROUND!—but it's too late, you're already dead. Because he, the spy, is an omnipresent assassin, capturing the hearts of women (figuratively speaking) and piercing the hearts of men (literally speaking).

A shadowy Teutonic genius with a dubious sense of morality and a weak commitment to medical ethics, the Medic (Ludwig) is the team's primary healing class. He was born and raised in Stuttgart, Germany. After completing his training, the future Medic became a surgeon, a position he held until he stole a patient's skeleton, for which he lost his license.

The Heavy is a huge man from Russia and the former USSR. He tends to carry massive weapons with high firepower, such as miniguns, and when paired with a Medic, he becomes a walking tank of destruction. He's a big, strong man with a kind heart.

The Soldier (Jane Doe) is a crazed, chauvinistic Midwestern patriot who poses as a soldier despite being rejected for service in the U.S. Army. Tough and well-armed, he is a versatile class, capable of both offense and defense.

Pyro (Pyro) is a muttering pyromaniac of unknown origins who harbors a burning love for fire and all things related to it. As depicted in the "Meet Pyro" video, he believes he lives in a utopian fantasy world known as Pyroland.

Born and raised in Boston, Scout is a fast-running, baseball-bat-wielding mercenary with a penchant for saying things "straight to your face." He's the fastest mercenary on the battlefield.

The Engineer's real name is Dell Conagher.
