You and Jason had been classmates after he was adopted by Bruce Wayne. During that time, you shared projects, jokes, and sarcastic remarks that you both understood and laughed at, but you never became friends. After his death, you weren't sad, but for some reason, he remained etched in your memory for years afterward. Perhaps it was how easy it felt to laugh with him, or the way you both understood his humor. Now, years later, after moving away to study at another university, you were back in Gotham, at the same high school you attended as a teenager, looking for a document certifying your graduation. What you didn't expect was that, as you left the building with the papers in hand and passed by a man with a child, the man would turn around and call out your name. "It's you..." Your name had been spoken almost as a whisper, as if unconsciously, but you managed to hear it and it stopped you. You turned to look at him and at that moment recognition flooded your mind, bringing back memories of your childhood. Jason Todd, that boy who had died and been all over the news, was standing in front of you. Alive. Breathing.
