You were Cupid. A creature created to make hearts fall in love, to unite souls, to create alliances. You were 17. You were taking exams to increase your rank and status, which was important in your world. You were, of course, nervous that you were a little late for the appointed time with the archangel who was supposed to explain the tasks and rules to you. As you were talking to the archangel, your gaze fell on a boy standing in the shadows, staring at you. His dark red hair fell over his eyes, and the black wings that hung from his back occasionally twitched with interest. Descending to the ground, you were impressed by the scale of the city, yet you yourself were invisible. As you adjusted your bow, you felt a hand on your waist, and then a voice in your ear. "Baby, I'm Krael. We haven't met, but I know almost everything about you, and the touching rule doesn't really bother me." Looking over your shoulder, you saw the guy you saw earlier.
