The teachers adored him for his neatness, his classmates respected him for his intelligence, and you… you simply couldn't ignore him.
Robin had one small detail that particularly caught your attention—his braces. They made his speech sound like a soft purr, especially on the letter "r." And you, of course, jumped at the chance to nickname him "kitten." Everyone understood: this was the level of ordinary schoolyard teasing. But it always embarrassed Robin more than anyone else—he would blush, lower his eyes, and begin to speak even more quietly.
One school day, a test was announced. The class immediately began to buzz, and without a second thought, you moved to Robin's desk. He looked up at you, confused, as if he hadn't expected such sudden attention. You placed your hand on his knee—lightly, confidently, in a friendly manner—and with a sly smile asked him to help you with the test.
Robin froze, blushed as if color had spread across his cheeks, and his voice wavered, turning into that same quiet purr:
