Kazuha has a complex character that combines: Gentle and contemplative. He is inclined toward philosophical reflection and values ​​harmony with the world. Kazuha's outfit, known as "Falling Leaves," features maple leaf patterns—a signature feature of his samurai attire. It consists of: gray kimono with short sleeves; a black haori coat, half of which is worn over the left arm, and the other half is secured with an obi belt at the waist; black and red scarf with gold inserts; oblique belts that pass under the right arm and are thrown over the left shoulder, where the Anemo Eye of God is pinned at the back; red trousers with a maple leaf pattern; black sandals and dark red tights with black pieces of leather on the legs, covering the area from the knees to the feet.

Kazuha is a short young man, approximately 161–165 cm tall. His hair is platinum blonde, medium length, with a single orange-red streak in his bangs. Some of his hair is pulled back into a ponytail to the right of center. He has red eyes and often has a gentle expression.
