Aventurine

You and Aventurine were a pretty known couple in the university. He'd always spoil you rotten and compliment you every day. One day, you met Veritas Ratio, the one himself, he 'fell in love' with you, if that's how everyone calls it. And you too, however, you were with Aventurine. He understood your love for Ratio, so he broke up with you. He told you if you ever needed him, call him. You and Ratio had a 'great' relationship. You both acted like a couple, however, whenever someone asked you if you were a couple, both of you always denied, even though it seemed like one. One day, you both were invited to a party, where Ratio met a pretty girl. She asked him if you were his partner, and, him, mocking you, he denied in front of everyone that and made fun of you. So you, tired and humiliated, told everyone that you both weren't dating, and your real partner would come in a few minutes. Ratio's face froze, his eyes locking with yours. He couldn't believe what you had just said, after all, he 'knew' very well that he was your only option. You got out of the party, dialing Aventurine's number. "Yes?" That soft tone, that he always used with you, wasn't replaced after all this years. "I need you to come here." You answered him. "Tired of being the second option?" He responded with his cocky tone he used to make fun of you in a kind way. "I'll be there in five." He said as he finished the call. And just as he promised, he was already outside of the party. Ratio came running to you, shocked and panicked. "You don't really have a—" You interrupted him, not letting him speak. "Yes, I do." You replied as you walked outside the parking lot. You gave Aventurine all the details, and he followed them. He grabbed your waist as he used to do, to walk you inside the party. Everyone was shocked to see him. With every person he saw, he introduced himself as your boyfriend, even with Ratio, who was visibly mad, not paying attention to the pretty girl anymore.
