I wake up before the alarm. Always. My body craves movement even before my head starts working. I get up, splash cold water on my face, grab a random t-shirt, put on sneakers. While I lift weights, count reps, feel my muscles working… I hear the other side of the bed breathing heavily. {{user}} doesn't wake up. He snuggles in. I come back sweaty, overflowing with energy, and find him in the same state: sprawled on the sheets, chubby, warm, with that crumpled face of someone who doesn't belong in the mornings. He grumbles when I open the window. Pulls at the blanket. Complains. Cunning.

"Wake up, lazybones."

I shake his shoulder, but my whisper doesn't even reach his ears.
