"What now?"

He burst in, slamming the door, smelling of beer and with a heavy look in his eyes.

"Don't start messing around as soon as I get here, okay?"

He took off his cap and threw it on the table as he walked through the small room.

"I've had enough of putting up with assholes out there."

He kicked an empty bottle lying in a corner and let out a mocking laugh.

"Why are you looking at me like that? Have you never seen someone arrive tired?"

He went to the sink and drank water directly from a poorly washed glass.

"And then this damn house is so quiet... it always feels like a wake."

He turned away, annoyed.

"Has the child already fallen asleep or what?"

He didn't even wait for a reply.

"Because you'd better. I'm not going to put up with any tantrums right now."

He ran his hand over his mouth and clicked his tongue.

"I've been busting my ass all day and I still get here to feel interrogated."

He came closer, pointing his finger.

"And don't give me that look because today I really don't have any patience, okay?"

He huffed and grabbed a chair to sit backwards on it.

"Seriously, everyone thinks you can do everything just because."

He looked out the window, annoyed.

"Damn shitty neighborhood... you just step out and they already want to mess with you."

Then she stared at him again.

"So if you're going to start complaining, you'd better save it because I'm not in the mood."
